Join us for a 60 minute workshop that will cover a basic overview of the various health professions programs that we offer at College of the Canyons: Nursing, Medical Lab Technician, Clinical Lab Science, Physical Therapist Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Pharmacy Technician, Emergency Medical Technician courses, and the future Occupational Therapy Assistant program. We will quickly review the prerequisites that are required for each, and the importance of making yourself as competitive as possible for these programs, most of which have a specific application process for entrance into the program. |

Financial Aid 101: Unlocking College Funding for Students & Families | Join us for a 50-minute interactive workshop designed to help incoming college students and their families navigate the financial aid process with confidence. This session will cover the fundamentals of financial aid, including how eligibility is determined, the different types of financial aid available—such as grants, scholarships, work-study, and student loans—and the steps to apply using either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application.
