LARRY ALVA

  Adjunct Professor of Communication Studies

 

 

Larry Alva has been an adjunct professor at College of the Canyons since 2013.  He is honored not only to teach at College of the Canyons, but is proud to be an alumni.  Larry’s decision to teach Communication Studies was encouraged by professors still teaching at the college today.  He hopes to continue this legacy and inspire a new collection of students with the same passion for communication studies.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Brandman University, which he completed at the University Center at College of the Canyons.  In addition, he holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University.  In his free time, Larry enjoys riding his Peloton bike, hiking, reading and spending time with his family.
