Carpentry Technology Certificate of Specialization

The Carpentry Technology Certificate of Specialization is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in carpentry. Students will gain skills in a wide variety of carpentry applications including but not limited to safety, hand and power tools, wall and roof framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetmaking. Students who complete this certificate will also be eligible to earn industry recognized credentials from the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER).

Student Learning Outcome:
Students will apply basic skills and knowledge required for employment in a carpentry technology related trade.

Framing and Exterior Finish Carpentry | 2 units
Interior Finish Carpentry | 2 units
Blue Print Reading for Construction | 3 units
Measurements and Computations | 3 units
