Accreditation Information
The College of College of the Canyons, Associate Degree Nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20037. This current accreditation expires in February 2024. College of the Canyons Nursing Program decided to pursue specialized programmatic accreditation through the National League for Nursing-Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN-CNEA). The college and nursing program faculty recognize and value the need for achieving this mark of distinction and believe that CNEA accreditation has greater alignment with the quality outcomes of our associate degree nursing (ADN) program curriculum.
Please note that specialized programmatic accreditation is not an expectation but rather a voluntary choice of ADN programs who wish to have this added mark of distinction that demonstrates college, program, and faculty commitment to quality and excellence; current and future students.
