Certificate of Specialization in Therapeutic Procedures


The Sports Medicine program and certificate prepare the student for appropriate procedures in the recognition, prevention, care and rehabilitation of athletic related injuries.

This program is designed to prepare students for immediate employment as an aide and/or to transfer into university degree programs in related fields including but not limited to athletic training, physical therapy, and orthopedics.

Student Learning Outcome:
Demonstrate skills and proficiency in therapeutic procedures necessary to safely and effectively administer therapeutic modalities and exercises to patients.
