Information Nights for Prospective Students

To better assist high school seniors who are curious about making College of the Canyons their next step, the college will be offering information nights on Nov. 12 and 13 at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) and at Canyon High School on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The information nights will provide prospective students and their families with information regarding admissions, how to earn priority registration, and other key student support programs and services including the college’s Canyons Promise program, which gives incoming students the opportunity to attend COC for free for two years.

Held from 6 to 7 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., the presentations will review the various educational pathways available to students including transfer preparation, associate degrees and certificates, and the Canyons Promise program.

The first information night session being held on Wednesday, Nov. 13 will be tailored to students who may need support services from the college’s Academic Accommodation Center (AAC) program.

A Spanish presentation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 in the Canyons High School Performing Arts Center. 

A full list of information night dates and times is listed below:

  • 6 – 7 p.m. and 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12– College of the Canyons Valencia Campus, PAC
  • 6 – 7 p.m. (AAC) and 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13– College of the Canyons Valencia Campus, PAC 
  • 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14– Canyons High School, Performing Arts Center
  • 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Spanish) Thursday, Nov. 14– Canyons High School, Performing Arts Center

Admission to all information night events is free and open to the public.

Parking in all student lots will be free for the duration of the events.
