You may choose to pursue your teaching credential combined with the Master of Education: Special Emphasis degree. You will have an academic advisor who will help you plan out your program sequence.
Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree program may complete the requirements for the Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential as part of their Master of Education Special Emphasis program. -
- Application: Apply online at www.laverne.edu/apply. Application fee is $50. (If you attend an info session, the fee is waived.) Application deadlines: one week prior to the start of each term.
- Financial Aid: Submit the FAFSA online www.fafsa.gov
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with 2.8 or above GPA
- Statement of purpose
- Writing Competency Assessment
- Current TB Clearance with the past 2 years
- Current fingerprint clearance/Live Scan with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- CBEST Passage required
