Student Achievement Program (AANHPI SAP)


Located in the Intercultural Center, the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Student Achievement Program aims to provide culturally responsive services to increase success in higher education for low-income, first-generation AANHPI-identifying students, and other underrepresented students. We empower students by fostering a culturally responsible learning community and provide the following academic and holistic services:

  • Academic counseling referrals & Tutoring
  • Financial Assistance
  • Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot Lending
  • Career Development
  • Cultural Identity & Community Care
  • Supporting AANHPI Mentorship & Achievement (SAMA) Alliance

Students interested in joining AANHPI SAP can complete the Student Intake Form.

After submitting, students can either use the link provided or be contacted to schedule their Intake Appointment with the AANHPI SAP Coordinator to learn more about the enrollment process and other campus resources.

AANHPI SAP aims to provide culturally responsive services to enhance student educational experiences and promote higher education success for low-income, first-generation AANHPI students, and other underserved and underrepresented students. 

Other requirements include:

  • Be currently enrolled as a COC student
  • Meet with AANHPI SAP Coordinator or mentor at least once a semester
  • Attend at least one AANHPI SAP/SAMA Alliance sponsored event (per semester) before graduation (online or in person)
