Transfer Preparation Programs

Interested in transferring to a University of California (UC), Stanford, or another highly selective university? Transfer preparation programs provide community college students with additional resources, guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to help them prepare for a successful transfer. Participating in these programs can help students become more competitive transfer applicants!

UCLA Center for Community College Partnerships (CCCP) Scholars Program

The UCLA CCCP Scholars Program supports community college students interested in transferring to UCLA and other four-year institutions. Students receive transfer preparation, academic guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to learn more about the UCLA experience and the transfer process.

UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (TAP)

The UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) is a partnership between UCLA and College of the Canyons that helps students prepare for transfer to UCLA. Students receive additional academic guidance and support through their college’s honors program and may receive priority consideration for admission to eligible UCLA majors.

UCLA Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP)

The UCLA Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP) provides community college students with transfer preparation, mentorship, and opportunities to learn more about UCLA. Students can participate in workshops, campus visits, application support, and other activities designed to help them navigate the transfer process and connect with the UCLA community.

UC Berkeley Community College Transfer Services (CCTS)

UC Berkeley’s Community College Transfer Services provides resources and support to community college students preparing to transfer to UC Berkeley. Students can access transfer information, workshops, and other resources designed to help them navigate the transfer process.

Experience Berkeley

Experience Berkeley gives prospective community college transfer students an opportunity to learn more about UC Berkeley, explore academic and student life opportunities, and connect with the campus community. The program is designed to help students envision themselves as successful Berkeley transfer students.

UC Berkeley Starting Point Mentorship Program

The Starting Point Mentorship Program connects community college students with mentorship and transfer preparation resources as they work toward transferring to UC Berkeley. Students can receive guidance and support throughout their transfer journey while learning more about the Berkeley transfer experience.

UC Berkeley Underground Scholars Transfer Support

UC Berkeley Underground Scholars provides transfer support and resources for formerly incarcerated students and students impacted by the criminal justice system. The program offers community, mentorship, advocacy, and assistance with navigating the transfer process and transitioning to UC Berkeley.

UCI Transfer Preparation Program

UC Irvine offers transfer preparation opportunities designed to help community college students strengthen their transfer plans and prepare for admission. Students may receive academic guidance, transfer resources, mentorship, and opportunities to learn more about UCI.

UCSB Transfer Preparation Programs

UC Santa Barbara offers programs and resources to help community college students prepare for transfer and become familiar with the UCSB campus community. Opportunities may include transfer guidance, workshops, mentorship, and other forms of transfer support.

UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program

UC Davis provides transfer preparation and support opportunities for community college students interested in transferring to UC Davis. Students can receive guidance on academic preparation, the transfer process, and resources available to prospective transfer students.

UC Santa Cruz Transfer Preparation Program

UC Santa Cruz offers transfer preparation resources and programs that help community college students understand the transfer process, prepare for admission, and learn more about the UCSC experience.

UCLA Engineering Pathways for Community College Students

UCLA Engineering offers pathways and preparation opportunities for community college students interested in pursuing engineering at UCLA. These programs can provide academic preparation, transfer guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to learn more about engineering programs and resources at UCLA.

Stanford Community College Preparation Program

Stanford offers opportunities designed to help community college students learn more about transferring to Stanford and prepare for the application and transfer process. Students may receive guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with Stanford and learn more about the university experience.
