Program Requirements

To be part of Canyons Promise, students must complete all sign up requirements by our program deadline. Canyons Promise admits new cohorts of students every fall semester. To learn about how to sign up, deadlines and to complete all items, visit our Sign Up Requirements page.

Once students are part of Canyons Promise, there are program requirements they must meet and complete. Failure to maintain or complete any of our requirements will result in removal from the program. We always encourage students to reach out to us with any questions they may have.

For our 2024-2025 new cohort of students, below are the requirements for your first year.

  • Attend a Canyons Promise Summer Orientation/Workshop. New Canyons Promise students MUST attend one orientation/workshop during the summer of 2024. These will be offered for the duration of summer 2024. We will have morning and afternoon opportunities for students to fulfill this requirement.
  • Students who are admitted into the program will be provided additional information (including how to sign up) in their program acceptance letters, which will be sent out in mid-May.

Each course is one week long and is at no cost to students. Some students may have already completed one or two of the certificate courses during high school.
