Michael McCaffrey

Michael McCaffrey emigrated to the United States from his native Scotland in 1991. After studying art and working as an artist and gallerist in Chicago, he moved to Southern California in 2004. He has been teaching art and art history classes since 1993 at a variety of colleges and universities in the U.S., including the University of Illinois, Ohio State University, Northwestern University and Cal State University San Bernardino. He has worked at College of the Canyons as an adjunct instructor since fall 2004 and was recently hired as a full-time member of College of the Canyons Art Department. Michael's work has been shown in numerous shows in the U.S. and overseas and he operated his own gallery project in Chicago. His work is held in several private and public collections including Loyola University Chicago, and The Speizer Collection at the Rockford Art Museum in Rockford, Illinois.
