Residential Repair Technician Noncredit Certificate of Completion

This noncredit program explores a variety of fundamental building trade and maintenance skills. It includes safe operation of tools and equipment for basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting techniques and repairs.

Course Descriptions

NC.CONS 100A – Drywall and Painting: Basic Techniques and Repair Essentials

Introduces the fundamental skills necessary to install, repair, and paint drywall. Includes safety, tools, and related drywall and painting techniques.

NC.CONS 100B – Plumbing and Electrical: Basic Techniques and Repair Essentials

Introduces the fundamental skills necessary to perform basic residential electrical and plumbing installations and repairs. Includes safety, tools, and troubleshooting related to the installation and repair of common outlets, fixtures, faucets, drains, and toilets.
