Step 2 - CPL Review

We will review your CPL request.

  • If the course is already approved for CPL, we will review your submitted qualifications, experience and training. We may follow up with a request for additional documentation, or to complete an interview or assessment.
  • If the course you are requesting CPL for is not already on the 'CPL Course List,' we will refer to faculty regarding the course eligibility for CPL. If the course is not eligible for CPL, we will notify you by email of the faculty decision.

Step 3 - CPL Assessment and Grade

If the course you are requesting CPL for is not eligible for CPL, we will notify you of this by email.

For approved CPL courses, faculty will assess your prior learning and provide you with a grade (A, B, C, D, F, P, NP). We will send you a CPL Form for you to sign via email containing the faculty's decision and you will have the opportunity to agree, deny, or appeal the CPL grade.

Step 4 - Receive Credit

If you agree to have the CPL grade posted to your transcript, the signed form will be sent to Admissions & Records for processing.
