Welcome to the Department of Earth, Space, and Environmental Sciences (or ESES), which encompasses the disciplines of Astronomy, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Geology, and Physical Science. We offer a full spectrum of lower division undergraduate courses that fulfill the transfer, economic and workforce development needs of our students. The instructional program is supported by five full-time faculty as well as approximately fifteen part-time faculty members. Students in ESES have the option of taking separate lecture and laboratory classes, while certain courses feature combined lecture and laboratory components.
