• Math 100 (online version for 2 sections; late start; 8 weeks)
• NC.Math-015, NC.Math-018, NC.Math-019 (noncredit math classes)

Spring 2026 Schedule

• Math 104X MW 8:25-9:45 and TTh 8:25-10:50 (one section meets 4 days per week)
• Math 100  MW 11:5-12:20, 12:30-1:50 (two sections)
• possibly some noncredit math classes

Math 100: Liberal Arts Mathematics

This is a 3.0 unit math class.

Book

You may download a free book, or spend approximately $9 for looseleaf printed copies from the bookstore. Purchase a 3-ring binder (1.5 or 2 inches) if you purchase the looseleaf pages. A link to the pdf copy of the book is available through the Math Department website.

I will begin with Chapters 8 and 2 in the book for work with decimals, percentages, and proportions.

Noncredit Math to Refresh Your Skills

I highly recommend that you enroll in some of our Noncredit Math classes if your Math placement was Level 1 or if you have previously struggled with Math 100.  If you do not know your Math placement level, you may check with Admissions and Records (A&R) or Counseling.

You may begin with NC.Math-004, and 005 to prepare for Chapter 2 on percentages and proportions. I also recommend NC.Math-002, 003, 007, and 008. 

These classes are only 6-10 hours each, are free, are fully online, and there is no transcript notation.
