Restaurant Entrepreneurship

This program was developed for students interested in becoming entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry. It combines classes offered by the Hotel & Restaurant Management and Business departments to create a Certificate of Specialization for students who complete a specified series of classes. The program was developed as a response to student needs to develop skills, in a relatively expedient manner, needed to initiate a restaurant enterprise. Students are advised to consider additional offerings in the Hotel & Restaurant Management and Business Departments that may further prepare them for the initiation of a successful business enterprise.
