Welcome to our class. My name is Professor Issa. I look forward to learning with you this semester at College of the Canyons.
This is a 12-week course.
The course will be available on COC’s Canvas course management system at 7:00 AM beginning on the first day of the course.
Be sure to log in and post to the Introduction Roll Call Discussion Board by the listed deadline, otherwise, you will be dropped from this course.
Focuses on the fundamental concepts of strategic planning for conducting business via the Internet. Substantive areas include: case analysis of business issues and strategies in the Internet economy, and key elements needed to develop a strategic e-business plan for competitive advantage. Familiarity with the Internet is assumed.
What to Expect in this Course
Preparation for each week- you will be expected to read the chapter(s) prior to the week of the discussion and assignments for the specific chapter(s). You will be required to participate on a weekly basis.
Exams - There will be two exams for the semester.
Project - there will be an individual project that consists of a written paper.
