Introduction
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this class will be taught via remote instruction.
Course Description
A review of primitive data types and their internal representation. Data structures built from primitive types such as arrays and records. Program design, Big O notation and algorithms: searching and sorting. Advanced data structures: stacks, queues, link lists, binary trees and hash tables.
What to Expect in this Course
Students are expected to regularly attend the "live" lectures I give over Zoom during scheduled class meetings.
In class meetings where a Quiz is scheduled, students will be given 30 minutes from the start of the Zoom session to complete the Quiz. After 30 minutes have elapsed, I will begin my "live" Zoom lecture.
In those class meetings where an Exam is scheduled, students will be given the entire class session on Zoom to complete the Exam. I will be present on Zoom to answer any clarifying questions students may have regarding the Exam.
Regular attendance is mandatory and will be taken at the beginning of each Zoom class session.
