Introduction

Welcome to the course! I’m your facilitator, a Latina and first-generation college graduate with 10 years of experience supporting students as they navigate higher education and the world of work. The first thing I’d like you to know is that this course is all about you. It’s designed to help you increase self-awareness, empowering you to recognize that the answers you’re seeking are already within.

Throughout the course, we’ll also use career resources to guide you in navigating job searches and preparing for life after your certificate, degree, or wherever you are in your journey. This fully online course is self-paced, but deadlines are important—so time management is essential. Remember, what you get out of this course depends on what you put into it!

I will have weekly Friday zoom office hours which link will be available to you via your course module on Canvas.
