Introduction
Welcome to the CWE course. I look forward to meeting you and learning about your job or internship. Keep in mind students must have a job or internship in place in order to participate in the course.
Your one and only mandatory meeting is the first day of class. Check the class schedule for the date and time. Students will be required to log into Canvas to attend the entire two-hour class meeting via zoom. Roll will be taken at the beginning and end of the class. Students who do not attend the class meeting will be dropped from the course. Please email me if you have any questions about the class and I will respond within 48 business hours.

Course Description
The CWE course provides students with the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills gained from college courses or career exploration in an actual work setting. Students are earning credit through the hours they work at their job or internship in conjunction with the academic component of the CWE class.
What to Expect in this Course
This course will include group discussion, written assignments, and on-the-job-learning. All assignments and other required documents will be submitted electronically via Canvas. Assignments and documents can be submitted as Word or PDF documents.
Students will be expected to develop and implement a workplace project to enhance their career knowledge, skills and abilities.
