Introduction
Hello dear students,
My name is Juliana Yankey. I have been an adjunct instructor at COC for the past 6 years. I have taught Math 075, Math 140-Honor, Math-140X, and regular Math 140 courses. I also have taught Math 083- Geometry, Math 060-Alebra and Math 58 and Math 90/Math 140-Intro Statistics. This Fall Semester, I am teaching Math-140-Honor and Math-140. Course Description
Examines statistical methods including exploratory data analysis, sampling, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, probability, and computer-based statistical software. UC credit limitation: ECON-291, MATH-140, MATH-140H, MATH-140X, PSYCH-104, and SOCI-137 combined, maximum credit one course.

OnlineLIVE will be conducted via Zoom during required scheduled times. You will log onto Zoom through Canvas. This class may require camera/video to be turned on during scheduled class time. What to Expect in this Course
What to expect in this online live class: The students are expected to do weekly assignments, and discussions entry based on e-text reading.
This course required computer with internet, webcam for and Canvas confer zoom lecture meetings, discussions and taking Exams online live via confer zoom during scheduled times, 11:00 am to 1:25 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Types of Assessments
Types of Assessments: Proctored online live zoom exams during the schedule times as specified in the syllabus, online discussions boards posting in canvas under Discussions, Written Projects will be posted in canvas and regular written assignments will be posted under the Assignments in canvas.

Attendance is required. Missing too many classes may result in bad grades or being dropped for excessive absences.
If you can’t make it to confer zoom meeting on August 20, 2024, which is the first day of class, email me before the first day of class to avoid being dropped from the course.
Participation during the canvas confer zoom meetings is encouraged.

Often the pressure on our students is very strong, involving academic commitments, relationships, outside jobs and family pressure to name a few. Veterans Resource Center
