Introduction

I am Professor Rupa Sinha. I am coming back in campus after March 2020. I love in person classes where we can do hands on activities. This class is different than the other math classes. We will do calculations but mostly focus on concepts and interpretations. 

Course Description

We will cover data analysis, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlations, sampling techniques etc. 

What to Expect in this Course

Each student has their own style of learning. We need online software statkey. You do not need to download anything. You will have chapter exams, Final exam, and a project. I will explain more in class.

Types of Assessments

The exams will be proctored by me in class. There will be online quizzes, online discussion boards, and journals. 

Textbook Information / Link to ZTC Textbook

We will use free OER book by Matt Teachout. You will find the textbook in your canvas. No need to buy anything for this class.

Consistency is the key. Try to attend each single class since we will cover a lot in one class period.
