Hello and Welcome to the course! I am very excited that you are taking this course to sharpen your professional skills and I am thrilled to share in your personal and professional development journey.

Exploration of participants’ own behaviors and personality styles, while learning to adapt one’s behavior to be effective with other personality styles in a variety of work situations. Emphasis is placed on dealing with difficult relationships and communicating in a way that matches the needs of all involved to achieve relationship satisfaction and organizational objectives.
What to Expect in this Course
This is an 8-hour course, however, it will be open for a one or two-week period to allow students to work at their own pace.
The course consists of online discussions and assignments based on the learning materials.
Types of Assessments
This class is offered as noncredit. All noncredit courses are graded as Pass (P) or No Pass (NP).
• Pass (P) = 80 - 100%
• No Pass (NP) = Less than 80%

This course is one of three courses that are part of the Customer Relations Certificate. Earners of this certificate have developed a deep understanding of communication skills and how they relate to quality customer service. Additionally, earners understand different personality styles and how to adapt to each. They are able to provide strategic customer service recommendations based on their classroom experience as well as demonstrate collaborative problem solving.
