Hi class, and welcome to COC's School of Personal and Professional Learning! I am excited to be on this journey with you. I have over 20 years of experience helping noncredit students update their skills to become better prepared for the 21st century workplace. I look forward to working with each one of you.
Analyzes the impact of leadership on organizational effectiveness. Emphasis will be placed on attributes of successful leaders, including interpersonal skills, attitudes, and behaviors, which can facilitate effective leadership within different types of organizations. Designed to provide leadership communication skills and techniques for planning and organizing in today's changing workplace.
What to Expect in this Course
This is an 12-hour course, however, it will be open for a two-week period to allow students to work at their own pace.
The course consists of online discussions and assignments based on the learning materials.
Types of Assessments
This class is offered as noncredit. All noncredit courses are graded as Pass (P) or No Pass (NP). Grade Breakdown: Pass (P) = 80 - 100% No Pass (NP) = Less than 80%

Veterans Resource Center
The College of the Canyons Veterans Resource Center is a department within the Student Services Division at the college, created to help veterans and veteran dependents with applying to College of the Canyons, enrolling in classes, and requesting VA Education or Vocational Benefits.
