Course Description

Analyze the conflict cycle and practice skills to diffuse conflict at each stage. Skills include reframing, neutralizing language, discovering of interests, and leveraging innovative solutions through a collaborative negotiation process. 

What to Expect in this Course

This is an 8-hour course, however, it will be open for a two-week period to allow students to work at their own pace.

The course consists of online discussions and assignments based on the learning materials.

Other Relevant Course Information

This course is one of three courses in the Customer Relations Certificate.  Earners of this certificate have developed a deep understanding of communication skills and how they relate to quality customer service. Additionally, earners understand different personality styles and how to adapt to each. They are able to provide strategic customer service recommendations based on their classroom experience as well as demonstrate collaborative problem solving. The other courses required to complete this certificate are NC.CSKL 004 - Customer Service and NC.CSKL 006 - Personality Styles.
