Welcome to Essential Reading & Writing II! My name is Colleen Daly. I am eager to help each student improve writing and reading skills. This class is designed to strengthen your reading and writing skills; in turn you will be able to write better essays. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would like you to be successful in this class and am here to help you.

Course Description

In this course, we will dissect and explore the basics of essay construction, developing core writing skills, and diving deeper into reading comprehension.  Our guiding idea will be to consider the “art of writing” from many angles and why it might be important.

Upon completion and passing (70%) both classes, Essential Reading & Writing Skills I and Essential Reading & Writing Skills II, you will be eligible to earn a certificate from the college. 

What to Expect in this Course

You will need reliable internet accessibility with your device: computer, laptop, or tablet.

You will work independently by watching videos, reading online articles, writing college level material.

Canvas

This course can be accessed on the first day of class via Canvas at https://coc.instructure.com. Log into Canvas using your CanyonsID single sign-on:
