Introduction
I will be your teacher this semester. I have been teaching ESL for manyh, manyh years.
Course Description
We will learning vocabulary use to express complex ideas and we will practice speaking English at an intermediate level.
What to Expect in this Course
You can use a smart phone to connect with us during our Zoom meetings, but it is important that you use a tablet or a laptop to complete your assignments.
Types of Assessments
We are using Canvas to post assignments and to find reference to the material taught in class. You will have quizzes and writing assignments.
Homework is due on the Monday following the week when it was assigned, to allow you plenty of time to complete it.

We are not using books this semester. All the information you need will be provided to you in Canvas.

Canvas
This course can be accessed on the first day of class via Canvas at https://coc.instructure.com. Log into Canvas using your CanyonsID single sign-on:
- CanyonsID Username is your COC student email address (Ex: username@my.canyons.edu)
