Introduction
Hello and Welcome!
I am so happy to have you join me on this journey toward stress reduction, improved physical and mental well-being, and an overall happier life! Mindfulness is an excellent yet simple tool to integrate into daily life, and I look forward to sharing this knowledge with you.
I am a long-time Yoga and meditation teacher with more than 15 years of teaching this practice to students and teachers. So, you are in good hands! My goal is to make your experience as stress-free as possible, just like the practice itself, so that you can enjoy the benefits of your practice from the very first class.

During the course, we will cover such topics as:

This course meets on Zoom two hours each week. Therefore, you will need to have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of using Zoom, along with a webcam and microphone. Please also familiarize yourself with Canvas, which is home to our course.
While you will have lectures that provide academic information, the course is also experiential. On average, you can expect to spend about eight hours each week on this course, including daily practice and class time.
Types of Assessments
These are the assessments you can expect:
- Each week, there will be a discussion prompt. You'll need to post your initial response and respond to at least two peers by specific deadlines.
- Also, you will be asked to submit a short journal related to your daily practice each week.
- At times, I will offer low-stakes assessments, such as short in-video quizzes, to help you reinforce the information you're learning.
- There will be mid-term and final group projects during class time.
Textbook Information
There are no required textbooks, but you can expect to learn from these resources that I will provide or facilitate:
