My name is Minoo Pakgohar I will be your instructor for Health and Fitness NC.OAD-100. This course examines the theory and practice of health and skill related physical fitness activities for older adults. All of us would like to do our daily activities independently with age. You will learn how to prevent diseases and injuries by doing appropriate exercises. I am available through Canvas messaging and email on an ongoing basis if you have any questions. You can expect a reply within 12-24 hours depending on the day of the week.

This course examines the theory and practice of health and skill related physical fitness activities for older adults with an emphasis on maintaining independence in daily activities. Improves physical and mental well-being through life-sustaining exercise strategies and discussions on disease and injury prevention.
What to Expect in this Course
This course will be in-person and we will have an interactive class. I will send an email to the class one week prior to the start date with additional information. Digital information for this course will be accessed via Canvas at cv.canyons.edu beginning the first day of class. Only participants registered in this course will be able to log in to Canvas to access the course content. You can also access Canvas user guides with helpful tips for navigating and using Canvas.
