Types of Assessments

Attendance: All work will be submitted online and there are no face-to-face classroom meetings. Quizzes, exams, discussion posts, and assignments will be available only on specific dates listed in the course syllabus, so it is important you keep track of when assignments are due and make sure to complete them by the submission deadline to be eligible for credit.

Assignments, including exams, Discussion Boards, and Written Assignments, will be due in Canvas by 11:59 p.m. on the specific dates listed in the course syllabus. A little planning may help you avoid some problematic dates.

Proctored Exams: Exams are administered online using Honorlock, an extension through the Chrome internet browser that enables integrity controls and requires the use of a video recording device during all exams. You must have a functioning video camera that accurately records your behaviors during the exam. The camera may be a built-in part of the computer or an external device. I recommend taking exams early to avoid last-minute technical issues that may interfere with your ability to complete assignments.

*Computer or network failures are not considered excuses for missing any assignment or quiz in this class, nor is missing important announcements because you didn't check your e-mail.
