Introduction
This course familiarizes students with excel and other tools used to conduct investigative and intelligence analysis. In this course, I will also provide resources for students to keep track of (Resources Assignment) so that once they are in the field, they are better equipped to handle different problems.
Course Description
Topics covered include resources, financial records analysis, association charts, and a subpoena return to analyze.
What to Expect in this Course
Students are expected to dedicate 32 hours over the course of these next five weeks. Some weeks will be harder than others, depending on topics and the level of familiarization the student has. There will be one signature assignment to test the student's knowledge, as well as weekly hands-on exercises to practice the new information provided.
Types of Assessments
The assignments include quizzes throughout Canvas, file uploads of completed graphs and other charts, and written assignments.

Often the pressure on our students is very strong, involving academic commitments, relationships, outside jobs and family pressure to name a few. The staff and faculty of College of the Canyons are here to see you succeed academically and care about your emotional and physical health.
