District Accessibility Resources

Welcome to the College of the Canyons District Accessibility Resources website. We are pleased to provide a range of resources for District content creators, including our faculty, staff, classified employees, and administrators. These resources include recent accessibility announcements and updates, how-to guides for creating accessible District emails, digital flyers, posters, and documents, such as PDFs and Word files. You will also find our policies, procedures, and best practices for accessibility, along with a useful “who’s who” cheat sheet for accessibility-related responsibilities across campus.

Access Coordinator

Scott McAfee, Access Coordinator: Serving as the Access Coordinator for the District, Scott McAfee's responsibilities center around ensuring accessible electronic media and content design. His role encompasses training and addressing general accessibility inquiries, specifically as they pertain to District and classroom electronic content.

For assistance with addressing any concerns about inaccessible district or course-based electronic content, or if you need to facilitate training sessions on Section 508 and Accessible Content Creation, Scott is your primary contact.
