Event Calendar for Active Volunteers

The following calendar shows upcoming events and possible volunteer opportunities. Possible volunteer opportunities are clearly marked with the words "Volunteer Event" as part of the event name.

Please note that to register for any of the events displayed on this calendar, you must be a registered, active Campus Event volunteer through College of the Canyons' Volunteer Bureau, and sign up for the event through the link provided in our volunteer newsletter emails. In order to be considered a registered, active Campus Event volunteer through College of the Canyons' Volunteer Bureau, you must receive a clearance email from the Volunteer Bureau stating that you are cleared to begin volunteering.

To volunteer for a specific event, you must first request to volunteer for that event via the sign-up linked in our Volunteer Bureau newsletters, and you must receive an email back from us that approves that request to volunteer for that event. Volunteers who do not follow this approval process or who do not receive approval to volunteer prior to the event are not authorized to attend the volunteer event in question. Do not show up to an event as a volunteer without first having been dispatched by the Volunteer Bureau. Failure to follow the steps above may lead to loss of volunteer eligibility for College of the Canyons.

Please note that volunteers are not guaranteed volunteer opportunities as such opportunities are made available based on an as-needed basis. Slots for volunteer events are filled on a first-come-first serve basis.

In order to register for this volunteer event, you must be a COC volunteer registered with the Volunteer Bureau, be able to carry out the instructions of the event coordinator without direct supervision, be able to work well with other volunteers, and abide by College of the Canyons’ Code of Conduct.

The links to sign up for volunteer events can be found in the volunteer newsletter emails sent to all active Campus Event volunteers registered with College of the Canyons' Volunteer Bureau.

This event is for registered COC Volunteers only. Sharing of this event opportunity with those who are not registered COC Volunteers is strictly prohibited. Any volunteer service completed by someone who is not registered as a volunteer with the College of the Canyons Volunteer Bureau will not receive credit from the College of the Canyons Volunteer Bureau for the event volunteered at as the volunteer service is then considered to have been done on the volunteer's own time.
