Course Introduction:
Ready to take charge of your college journey, rooted in culture and community? This Umoja-designated course focuses on your success through a cultural lens inspired by the lived experiences of African Americans and the African Diaspora. You’ll explore your goals, strengths, and values while learning how to thrive in and out of the classroom. We’ll also dive into educational planning, time management, and career exploration, all while building essential professional skills. By the end of this course, you’ll have a clear plan, a confident mindset, and the tools to successfully navigate college, and beyond.
