  • Everything Transfer: These open labs are designed for those that need assistance with their CSU/UC Application updates, CSU/UC Applications or the Common Application. You can also get help with setting up a college portal, sending official transcripts to the university, E-Advising questions, help selecting the transfer school to transfer to, and many other transfer questions. Please stop by to get answers to your transfer questions. No need to stay the whole time. Counselors will be available to assist you.

    Transfer 101 Workshop: This workshop will discuss important information for students who are interested in transferring to four-year universities. It will detail what the admission requirements are, what are some of the things you need to consider when choosing a four-year university and what are some key recommendations to ensure you transfer successfully. This workshop is designed for students who want to learn more about the four systems of higher education in CA, out-of-state university options, and when you should apply.

    UC TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee): Why be uncertain about admissions when you can have guaranteed admission? This workshop is for students who will be applying for admissions to UC schools for fall 2024. Topics will include:

    I've Been Admitted, Next Steps: This workshop provides information to students who have been admitted to a College or university and will discuss specific steps to consider before committing or submitting the student intention to register. It will also discuss important deadlines for recently admitted students and how to deal to transition into the new school.

    I've Been Denied, Next Steps: This workshop is designed to help students who were denied admissions from a four-year University. We will discuss what you need to know, what action you can take and whether you should appeal the decision. We will also provide guidelines on what steps you can take in the future.

    Am I Eligible to Transfer for Spring 2024?: Did you know that there are out-of-state and private schools and a number of CSUs and UCs (UCSC, UCM, UCR) that accept Spring 2024? The Spring 2024 Application has a shorter timeline and specific requirements depending on the campus. This workshop will help you identify if you may be able to transfer mid-year rather than the Fall semester!

    Financing Your Transfer Education Workshop: Transferring to a 4-year university can sound expensive! Learn how to transfer your financial aid to your new school and learn how to figure out the true cost of your transfer school while discovering various ways to cover those expenses.

    CSU – Transfer Success Pathway Workshops

    This workshop will introduce you to the CSU Transfer Success Pathway. You will learn about what the pathway program is all about, the program requirements and how to sign up. You must be a first time college student to participate in this program.  You will receive guaranteed admission to the CSU of your choice as long as you meet all of the TSP requirements within 3 years. You must sign up by September 30, 2024.

    This workshop will review and go over the Personal Inquiry Questions. The facilitator will go over specific suggestions and recommendations. We will go over examples of strong and weak essays. This workshop will also cover general strategies regarding your personal statements for other universities that may require it.
