Ujima Scholars
Ujima Scholars is a culturally-based learning community tailored to enhance the educational
experience of Black/African American and other students through counseling, instruction,
mentoring, programming, and community building.

Requirements
- Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
- Have above a 2.0 GPA
- See Counselor at least twice per semester
- Sign Ujima Scholars participant contract
- Attend at least 1 event or workshop per semester
- Enroll in Ujima focused classes (when available for new students)
