Ujima Scholars is a culturally-based learning community tailored to enhance the educational experience of Black/African American and other students through counseling, instruction, mentoring, programming, and community building.

Requirements

  •  Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
  •  Have above a 2.0 GPA
  •  See Counselor at least twice per semester
  •  Sign Ujima Scholars participant contract
  •  Attend at least 1 event or workshop per semester
  •  Enroll in Ujima focused classes (when available for new students)
