DACA:

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is a federal program that allows a person to be deferred from deportation and gives the person a work permit. Many students may be considered a California Resident if they are DACA. College of the Canyons is dedicated to assisting you start your education while on DACA.

Undocumented:

A person who is currently undocumented, or in the United States without a legal status, can attend classes at College of the Canyons. While some students may be required to pay nonresident fees, some my qualify for the AB 540 tuition exemption waiver, as listed above. Out of Status:

Students who have overstayed their Visa or their current status expired are considered Out of Status. Students who are out of status can attend College of the Canyons. AB 540—Nonresident Tuition Exemption
