Late December 2023	Anticipated First day to submit the 2024-2025 FAFSA The Department of Education expects to release the 2024-2025 FAFSA in late December. The date has not been finalized and could change at anytime.
Late December 2023	Anticipated First day to submit the 2024-2025 California Dream Act Application The California Student Aid Commission expects to release the 2024-2025 Dream Act Application in late December. The date has not been finalized and could change at anytime.
March 2, 2024	Deadline to apply for a Cal Grant for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 (Community College, University, State School and Private Institution Deadline)
June 28, 2024	Deadline to submit the 2023-2024 California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and DSIG application
June 30, 2024	Deadline to submit the 2023-2024 FAFSA
September 2, 2024	Deadline to apply for a Cal Grant for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 (For Community College Students Only!)
October 1, 2024	First day to submit the 2025-2026 California Dream Act Application
November 7, 2024	Fall 2024 Grant Recalculation Date.

March 2, 2025	Deadline to apply for a Cal Grant for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 (Community College, University, State School and Private Institution Deadline)
April 6, 2025	2024-2025 Deadline to submit Verification Documentation for students who last attended Fall 2024. A Pell applicant selected for verification must complete verification by the deadline posted in the Federal Register, or 120 days after the last day of the student's enrollment, whichever is earlier.
May 12, 2025	Spring 2025 Grant Recalculation Date.
June 8, 2025	2024-2025 Deadline to submit Verification Documentation for students who last attended Winter 2025. A Pell applicant selected for verification must complete verification by the deadline posted in the Federal Register, or 120 days after the last day of the student's enrollment, whichever is earlier.
June 30, 2025	Deadline to submit the 2024-2025 FAFSA
June 30, 2025	Deadline to submit the 2024-2025 California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and DSIG application
August 4, 2025	Summer 2025 Grant Recalculation Date.
August 31, 2025	RECOMMENDED deadline date to have all verification documentation submitted for 2024-25.
September 2, 2025	Deadline to apply for a Cal Grant for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 (For Community College Students Only!)
September 21, 2025	Deadline to submit corrections for the 2024-25 FAFSA. Department of Central Processing Systems (CPS) at Department of Education must receive all corrections (student and/or school generated), by September 21, 2025. Corrections submitted after CPS closes the year for corrections, will not be processed. No exceptions!
September 21, 2025 *Official deadline has not yet posted by Department of Education. Therefore, this date is estimated	2024-2025 Deadline to submit Verification Documentation for students who last attended Spring or Summer 2025. A Pell applicant selected for verification must complete verification by the deadline posted in the Federal Register (September 21, 2025), or 120 days after the last day of the student's enrollment, whichever is earlier. IMPORTANT REMINDER* Deadline for Corrections is September 21, 2025; therefore, students submitting verification documentation after August 31, 2025 which need corrections may not be processed in time AND may not be eligible for payment.
