Find the Right Help

We’re happy to assist you with all your New Student Steps at the Welcome Center, and these steps can also be completed online. For additional help with Financial Aid, please reach out to their office directly.

If you have already submitted an application, and you did not receive your Admissions Acceptance email within 24-48 hours, please contact Admissions & Records, as the application is what generates your registration date.
If you are unsure if you were awarded anything through Financial Aid, please check your MAP (My Academic Plan), in your MyCanyons account, or reach out to Financial Aid directly.

If you are an incoming first-year or high school student with 15 units or fewer, you can meet with an Academic Advisor. Visit our Academic Advising webpage (located in the Welcome Center) to schedule an appointment and view drop-in hours.

If you have completed 16 or more units, please visit our Counseling Department webpage to book an appointment.

You can reset your password by clicking "Forgot Password." Follow the instructions for resetting the password, but if problems persist, please contact Admissions & Records.
You will not be able to see/access your Canvas Shell for your Online/Hybrid class, until you login to Canvas the first day your class starts. However, if you are still having trouble, please contact Canvas Support.
Please visit Connects Students for assistance booking an appointment with an Advisor or Counselor, and more.
You can have your transcripts from other colleges evaluated to determine what courses will transfer to our college. If you would like to send your official transcripts to College of the Canyons from another college for prerequisite eligibility, evaluation, or proof of graduation purposes, please visit Admissions & Records for next steps.

High school students interested in taking college courses can find helpful details on our Early College webpage, including how to apply, where to submit your special admission form, and who to contact for additional questions.

If you’re a senior, you can still take advantage of the Early College Program. For assistance with the application process to become a COC student after graduation, visit us at the Welcome Center.
