Welcome to Art 125A!

I am your Instructor, Malisa Humphrey, and I look forward to meeting you online Monday, August 23rd.

As an artist, I believe drawing is the foundation of all art making and is essential to investigating human perception. In this class, you will develop a strong foundation in drawing from observation. In this class, you will examine how you perceive the three-dimensional world and translate that to the two-dimensional confines of the image plane. Art 125A is a beginning drawing class that will explore various materials and techniques while focusing on line, value and perspective.
