This class is designed for new students entering college. Some of you may be freshmen and/or continuing students and the class will help you learn study strategies to become successful students. What is the most important thing to know is that this class is for anyone who wants to learn to be ready to succeed in college by learning to implement effective study strategies. In addition, you will also be exposed to learning about the following topics: time management, goal setting, campus resources, educational planning and career exploration.
I assure you that it will be a great experience. All of my past students have shared how much they learned about themselves and the valuable strategies they learned to be successful students. If at any time you have a question, feel lost, or need help, please let me know as I am here to support you and guide you along the way.
We will work together to learn from each other and I am sure that you will be motivated and become successful. There is a lot of support starting with me, your fellow students and all the wonderful resources on campus. I am looking forward to having you in my class.
