You use technology every day, whether you choose to think of it or not, and these issues we will discuss impact your own life and health as well as society’s. In this course, we use technology (cutting edge devices, artificial intelligence, and data mining) as a frame to develop good reading, writing, and researching skills.
This course builds critical reading and expository writing skills through the analysis and evaluation of college-level texts and the composition of well-organized, full-length essays containing properly documented evidence.

Students who do not login and complete the Self-Introductory Discussion Board on the first day of class will be dropped from the course as “No Shows.” Students who miss four or more postings prior to the add/drop date will be dropped for excessive absences.
