My Name is John Wissmath and this is my 14th year teaching here at COC, I also coach with the women's softball team.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to evaluate and apply strategies for health promotion in the six dimensions of health and wellness: psychological, physical, social, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual.

Course Description

Surveys the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social dimensions of health, including physical fitness, nutrition, weight management, substance abuse, tobacco and alcohol use, diseases, sexuality, mental health, stress management, consumerism, environmental health, death and dying.

UC credit limitation. UC/CSU transferrable, 3.0 units.
