Hello! I'm Lindsey McPhail and I'll be your instructor for the ID-091 Art & Accessories course. I'm an interior designer and have worked on Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Marine design projects around the world.
This class will cover the use and application of many design aspects for decorating and designing a space. We will discuss fine collectibles, art, serigraphs, lithographs, posters, framing methods, portable light fixtures, linens, and tableware in interior design. There are possibilities for guest speakers, details to be confirmed. Field trips may be required.
What to Expect in this Course
We will meet 1 day a week in person. We will use Canvas to support our class, to facilitate information, homework as well as any quizzes. If you are not familiar with Canvas, I'd suggest you review Canvas tutorials to ensure you're familiar with the platform before class begins. We will have a collaborative team project as well as other design assignments and quizzes. We have possibilities for guest speakers and virtual tours that will be announced if available. You should have basic computer knowledge to ensure you can utilize email and online programs to be effect in this class.
