College of the Canyons' Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) provides technology support and computer resources to help you succeed! Join TLC's Student Support Zoom Room for help with Canvas and basic computer/technology questions, including downloading or installing software on your computer and using programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) provides free individual tutoring in Writing, Math, Science and more, both in-person at the Valencia and CCC Campuses, and online!

What Can You Expect in the TLC?

• If joining the TLC online, just let the Zoom moderator know what class you're in, and a tutor will join you in a breakout room where a tutor will join you. 
• Students may return as often as they like. We are an excellent and productive between-class stop.
• We provide free individual tutoring in English, ESL, History, Psychology, Language classes, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Business/Accounting Math, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Accounting, Business, and more... (see Complete List of All Subject Tutoring and Hours).
• We have textbooks, calculators, and solution manuals available for many of the classes offered during your stay in the TLC.Students can expect individual help with writing problems, grammar, mechanics, and organization, as well as brainstorming and assistance with any stage of the writing process across disciplines.
• Students can also receive assistance with formatting and citing references in MLA, AMA, Chicago, ASA, and APA, reading strategies, and help with online research and general study skills.
• TLC tutors will help you with homework and understanding processes and concepts from basic skills classes all the way through the more advanced classes, including with computer programs used in Statistics and other math classes.
• Our tutors are aware of the demands and challenges college students face and are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping students from all backgrounds reach their academic goals.
