Business meetings are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. with a closed session, followed by an open session at 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted on the agenda. Times are subject to change, so please check individual meeting agendas or notices.

The public is always welcome to attend open sessions. The public may not attend closed sessions, whose topics are limited to those set forth by state law.

Time is set aside for the public to address the Board of Trustees during Open Session meetings on items that are NOT ON THE AGENDA, but those items will not be acted upon by the Board at the time of the meeting. ALL speakers must submit a "Request to Speak" form (located on the information table at the meeting) prior to this portion of the meeting and will be recognized by the President of the Board. Three (3) minutes will be allotted to each speaker and not more than 20 minutes on any subject.

If you need a disability-related modification or accommodation (including auxiliary aids or services) to participate in the public meeting, or if you need an agenda in an alternate form, please contact the Chancellor's Office at (661) 362-3400 at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting.

Meeting dates can change. When they do, a revised meeting calendar will be posted on this site and at the following locations:

Valencia Campus

• Glass-enclosed announcement case on the north side of Seco Hall
• Glass-enclosed announcement case in the Student Center atrium
• Bulletin board near the switchboard in Canyons Hall

Canyon Country Campus

• Glass-enclosed announcement case in Quad 1
• Glass-enclosed announcement case in Quad 3

The Board of Trustees will attempt to schedule joint meetings with other governing bodies such as the Associated Student Government, Wm. S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board, Santa Clarita City Council, and COC Foundation Board of Directors. These dates have been set aside so we can schedule joint meetings based on the availability of these organizations.

* A single asterisk indicates the date is tentative and dependent on whether:

• all board members are confirmed and able to attend and/or participate
• outside expertise and/or presenters are available (if needed)

** Two asterisks indicates the date is tentative and awaiting confirmation by the Wm. S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board.
