Budget Development oversees the planning, coordination and administration of the District's annual budget for all funds of the District. Throughout the year, the Department assists Budget Managers with budget inquiries and budget changes to facilitate District operations and initiatives. Maintenance of the District's position control budgeting system is also handled by Budget Development. The Department oversees the District's general ledger account code system, is responsible for tracking full-time faculty supplemental services payments and faculty load banking, and prepares monthly budget transfer reports for review and approval by the Board of Trustees. Other duties include assisting with training the campus community on the use of the Program Planning and Review module, providing information to the campus community on budget issues, and providing information for the PAC-B Committee.
