Ergonomics

Ergonomics made simple

At College of the Canyons, our Ergonomics Program is designed to create a safe, healthy, and comfortable work environment. By addressing ergonomic risks and promoting proper workplace practices, we aim to prevent injuries, improve productivity, and support overall well-being.

Our Goals
• Prevent work-related injuries and discomfort
• Provide training and resources to support safe work practices
• Help departments reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Promote employee health, safety, and morale

Ergonomics is the science of fitting the workplace to the individual. By adapting tools, equipment, and workspaces to people rather than the other way around, we make it easier for employees to do their jobs safely and effectively.

At College of the Canyons, we are committed to fostering a work environment where faculty and staff can thrive.
