Annual Open Enrollment date: August - TBD effective October 1st

Permanent employees working at least 30 hours or more per week are eligible to enroll themselves AND their eligible dependents in benefits. Employees working at least 20 hours or more per week are eligible to ONLY enroll themselves in benefits. Employees in positions less than 20 hours per week are not eligible to participate in health and welfare benefits.

FT Faculty

Annual Open Enrollment date: September (dental, vision & life) September - October (Medical)

Full-time Faculty are eligible to enroll themselves AND their eligible dependents in benefits.

Medical Insurance Plans (SISC)

Classified, Confidential and Management employees are provided with comprehensive coverage through SISC. Plans include Anthem Blue Cross HMO and PPO and Kaiser HMO medical plans.

Medical Insurance Plans (CalPERS Health)

Full-time Faculty employees are provided with comprehensive coverage through CalPERS Health. Plans include Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield, PERS PPO, Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net and United Healthcare plans.


Dental Plans

Dental insurance coverage through United Concordia (HMO) or Delta Dental (PPO).


Vision Plan


Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

The cost of coverage is paid in full by the District. Coverage is provided by Lincoln Financial Group


Disability Insurance

The cost of coverage is paid in full by the District. Coverage is provided by Lincoln Financial Group.


Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance

Allows you to purchase additional life insurance to protect your family's financial security. Coverage provided by Lincoln Financial Group.


American Fidelity

Section 125 Healthcare Flexible Spending Account and/or Dependent Care Account
