It is the mission of the Institutional Research, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness Office at College of the Canyons to provide access to quality data for planning, and to assist departments in using data to inform decision-making process


Schedule Build Project Tool

What is it: The Schedule Build Project tool is intended to assist faculty with the schedule building and program review & planning processes. It is not intended to be the sole source of data but rather provide an additional tool to assist faculty with these planning processes.

Where did it come from: Dr. Tara William, Chemistry faculty and department chair, Dr. Omar Torres-Vice President, Instruction and Garrett Hooper, Counseling faculty and former Guided Pathways faculty liaison were inspired by a similar data tool at an accreditation institute.

What is provided in the tool: The tool includes both full and abbreviated data tabs for each department with section, enrollment, success, program requirement and degree/certificate data (where applicable). Most faculty will want to jump straight to the "abbreviated" tab but the full suite of data are provided in case faculty want to dive deeper into the data.
